My Profile Songs Stories

"Seymour sings with the quiet confidence of someone who's lived every word, letting the melody carry as much weight as the lyrics."

Sean Seymour’s songs sound like finding a forgotten AM radio station where every track is a keeper. There’s a jangle of 12-string guitars, melodies that refuse to leave your head, and lyrics that land with the quiet weight of hard-earned experience. His music lives in the sweet spot where the Byrds’ sunlit harmonies meet the plainspoken honesty of Jim Croce, filtered through the grit and soul of a musician who’s spent years earning his stripes on stages instead of chasing trends. Sean isn’t interested in reinventing rock and roll—he’s reminding you why it mattered in the first place. The hooks are timeless, the stories are lived-in, and every song feels like another chapter from a life that’s been fully inhabited. In an era obsessed with the next big thing, Sean Seymour is making records that sound like they’ve been waiting decades to find you.

Sean Seymour is a New Jersey–born musician and singer-songwriter who spent years touring and recording as a bassist, guitarist, and backing vocalist, including four years as bassist for Richard Lloyd of Television. Now stepping into the spotlight with his own songs, Seymour blends the melodic sensibility of ’60s pop with the storytelling traditions of ’70s singer-songwriters and the spirit of contemporary Americana. Built on memorable hooks, timeless melodies, and emotionally honest lyrics, his songs feel familiar from the first listen yet distinctly his own. Balancing classic craftsmanship with a lived-in authenticity, Seymour carries the tradition of great songwriting forward, creating music that resonates without chasing nostalgia or trends.
